About Me

Although I am currently based in NYC, I was born and raised in Japan, where I studied Performance in Broadcasting at the Tokyo Announce Performing Arts College. Upon graduating, I joined the butoh group KAIZA and, later on, Theatre Company shelf. For close to fifteen years, I have acted in numerous Shuji Terayama plays, produced by the experimental theater company Banyu Inryoku.
